BA/BF ION trans controller by shift kits Australia

A Full manual, tiptronic controller to suit the BA / BF ION 4 speed transmission, this controller interfaces with the factory BA / BF tiptronic shifter and gives full manual control over the transmission and also lockup torque converter in 3rd and 4th gears.

For use with BA / BF Factory tiptronic shifter only

The shift pattern is as follows.
Default gear is 3rd when put into ‘D’ or ‘S’ positions
click up twice puts it into 1st
Each time you click backwards the gear increments 1 > 2 > 3 > 3+Lockup > 4 > 4+Lockup
and clicking upwards steps backwards through that pattern.

An optional feature is you can also lock out 4th gear completely so the highest gear it will go in is 3rd + Lockup, which is suitable for burnout or track cars that dont utilise 4th

The controller will require the ford PCM to be reflashed to have the factory automatic transmission control disabled.

Please note: if you are running an aftermarket NON-Lockup converter this can also be customised this controller do not use lockup
